Star Living Care LLC was founded by Minnesota caregivers who believed senior living could feel warmer, quieter and far more personal. Today our Bloomington home is exactly that.
Our Story
Built around one question
“What would we want for our own mother?” That question shapes every decision here — how many residents we welcome, how we schedule caregivers, even how the dining table is set.
Because we're small, our team learns each resident deeply: which hymn brings comfort, which grandchild calls on Sundays, which mornings are harder than others. That knowledge is what makes care feel like kindness instead of a task list.
Families are part of the household too. Visit any time, join us for dinner, and expect honest communication — including the hard conversations, handled gently.

Our Team
Licensed, trained, and here around the clock
Our team includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, trained unlicensed personnel, an activities coordinator and a full-time cook. Staff are awake and on-site 24 hours a day, and every team member completes the training and competency requirements Minnesota requires of licensed assisted living facilities.
We coordinate directly with primary care physicians, home health, hospice partners and therapists, so families aren't left managing appointments and paperwork alone.
