Assisted living at Star Living Care is for seniors who no longer want to manage a house alone — but who have no interest in giving up their independence.
Who assisted living is for
Most of our residents are managing a few chronic conditions, several medications, and a home that has become too much. They may need a steady arm for the shower, reminders for pills, or the reassurance that someone is nearby at 2 a.m.
Before move-in, a registered nurse completes a full assessment with the resident, family and physician. That becomes a written care plan we revisit regularly — and adjust the day needs change, without requiring another move.
Residents keep their own furniture, their own schedule, and the right to say no. Support is offered privately and only where it's welcome.

- Medication set-up and administration by licensed nurses
- Three home-style meals daily plus snacks and beverages

Daily Life
A typical day
7:00 – 9:00 AM
Caregivers offer help with the morning routine, then breakfast is served at the shared table. Nurses hand out morning medications.
10:00 AM
Chair exercise, devotions, or a walking group on the garden path — whatever's on the calendar that morning.
12:30 PM
The main meal of the day, cooked fresh in our kitchen. Diet needs are handled quietly, without a fuss.
2:00 PM
Cards, live music, a bus outing to the garden center, or an afternoon nap. Nothing is mandatory.
5:00 PM
A lighter supper, then family visits, favorite shows, or a game of cribbage in the living room.
Overnight
Awake staff complete gentle wellness checks and respond to call pendants within minutes.
